Status Update

Delays aside, I am building pretty steady again and the alpha mod is at 134 areas.

Included in that are the following regions: Galidorne Ruins, Ridgewood Forest, Arcalon, Drakmaar, Black Marsh, Fens, Northern Trade Road, Kelfin, Isendale Forest, Alyra's Tear, Tylran's Reach, Eastern Trade Road.

I will try and get some toolset screenshots up tonight or tomorrow.

Test server is back up in PW Story.

Staff Opportunities

Alia and I are looking for some dedicated and talented individuals who want to assist us on Brynsaar Staff. We have the following positions open:

Experienced builders.

I need at least 3 people capable of building high quality areas or detailing areas with placeables. Brynsaar has strict quality standards, naming conventions, and I am a demanding taskmaster ;)

Game testers

I need at least 5 people who can find bugs on the test server and communicate them effectively to the build team.

Experienced editor/designers/writers

Alia needs at least one experienced editor, 2 writers, and 2 designers. Applicants must be willing to read a great deal of material to become familiar with our campaign world and history. Passion for the project is a must.

Build update

Divino and I have begun building the exterior areas and I will be posting screenshots very soon. I will be bringing an Alpha test server online this evening when I get off work. Anyone intrested in running around in Galidorne's ruins before it becomes home to a dracoliche can email me.

Progress Report

Progress is going smoothly with the area layouts and building will likely start sometime this week. I am going to need some volunteers in the next week or two to help test the exterior skeleton of the mod. This will be the bare bones for the test mod and will require a 1.69 patched game client and a decent internet connection as the haks will be substantial.

If you volunteer for this you need to be prepared to provide me with detailed feedback while testing, including screenshots of busted areas.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Just because Sapience is griping, I'll post an update to the news heading. :)

I've been doing some checking on the latest haks and seasonal forest 10 looks to be in final release so tilesets will hopefully be locked down this coming week. I'll keep this page updated with progress.
